New Career Path Coming Soon

Those that know me know I have been in a rut and strange funk. Could it be the fact that I've been stuck on third shift for 2 1/2 years in a dead end nightmare? Yes I think so. This third shift lifestyle is a huge strain on my wife and kids as well as my health. I rarely sleep and eat anymore. And what is sick about it is I am used to it? I'm so used to it that I can get by on one meal a day and coffee for the remainder of the day. Not a good idea.

Anyways, I've been persuing a job in the opposite direction from what I've done so far. I am so sick of computers and helping people with their computer needs. It's not what I want. So, yesterday I had a ride along with a uniform delivery service and I had a great time. It was hard work and I broke a sweat, but that is what I am looking for. I miss hard labor. Plus its a union protected job. All they need to do is run a background check and send me off for a drug test and I am in. I can't wait. I hope the background check goes smoothly. Hopefully they don't dig to deep into criminal history. I might have a bench warrant in Ocean City, MD for a stupid open container incident.

Pre-ordered a Sony PSP

I did it again. I jumped on the Sony console preorder train. Next stop March something-or-other, 2005. There will be plenty of pacing and drooling over the next few weeks on further info into this handy handheld. For example, an official Sony price and release date... They were supposed to be announced today. If you want to know to, keep your eye on HHHQ for up to date news on the PSP or any other handheld device. HHHQ is one of my sites that I just launched. Check it out, click a banner ad, register, win Best Buy giftcards, etc. etc.

Anyways, I preordered my PSP from EBGames in their "value" pack. The pack includes the Sony PSP (which is unknown what Sony is including in that as well), 3 games, and 1 accesory for somewhere around $400. The price may lower depending on the PSP's official price. Don't you hate how every new console needs to be sold in a package? Oh well, it's better to be stuck with 3 launch titles than no games at all...right?

What games would I get? Jeez, I don't know. It is a tough call. It really depends on the list available from EB on launch date. I know my top choices would be:

Mercury - a cool Marble Madness labryinth game
Grand Theft Auto (if ready)
Ridge Racer or Need For Speed Underground Rivals
NFL Street 2

I'm sure my choices will change when it gets closer. Cause I forgot to mention Twisted Metal.
